Ecole Chocolat was "born" because of the many requests Pam got from chocolate makers all over the globe to know more about professional chocolate making techniques. Many of them want to become chocolatiers and open their own retail and/or wholesale operations. When trying to help, Pam realized that there are not many training opportunities outside of a professional chef or pastry chef program. Based on Pam's experience, Ecole Chocolat's Professional Chocolatier Programs offer what she consider to be the foundation for any successful Chocolatier: Product

Core Competencies Education Continuing education has been a passion for Pam Williams since asked by the University to create a workshop in entrepreneurship in the mid eighties. Since that start, she has developed and lead numerous seminars and workshops focused on business, marketing and now chocolate from a 30 minute speech to a 13 week accredited commerce course for business administration students. Pam took early retirement from her position as Senior Program Leader for the Division of Applied Technology, UBC Continuing Studies where she was responsible for intense, university-level, part time education opportunities for the business community. Her technical knowledge sparked an interest in delivering these same intense programs in an online environment. Her efforts in this area have helped to earn coveted North American continuing education awards for both the UBC Certificate in Internet Marketing as well as the UBC Certificate in eBusiness. While at UBC, she developed an online Learning Management System (LMS) called Learning Centre XL to deliver a complete learning experience. The original HTML based Learning Centre was developed by William Koty in 1997. In 2000, Pam managed the development of a new version of Learning Centre - a dynamic databased system which allows students, instructors, online tutors, speakers and administrators to use and manage the learning experience online. The success of these programs is manifest in over 800 enthusiastic graduates. Consulting Wilmor Publishing Corp.
